Saint Louis Bride "Real Weddings" Submission Guidelines

Magazine Submissions

Saint Louis Bride is published twice annually — in January and July. The real weddings featured in these issues are chosen in November (for the January issue) and in May (for the July issue).

We are looking for weddings with unique style that take place in (and around) the St. Louis area.

Weddings should have taken place no more than 8 months prior to the publication date.

Real Wedding submissions should include:

• 12-30 (no more than 30, please) high-resolution images on a cd or dvd. Images should illustrate the couple, the wedding (ceremony and reception) and special touches. We welcome candid shots and encourage detail shots of cake, florals, table decor, etc. Please only include up to 3 shots of the wedding couple. Each image should not include any watermarks or photographer's logo.
• a proof sheet of submitted photograph thumbnails for each wedding
• a cover sheet which includes the name and contact info for the wedding couple, date of wedding and any vendor details you are aware of

If your wedding is selected, Saint Louis Bride Magazine will contact you. At that time, a full questionnaire is sent to the bride, and a writer is assigned to oversee "their story."

Real Weddings Blog Submissions

Saint Louis Bride's "Real Weddings" blog will be featuring St. Louis weddings throughout the year. We will accept weddings for the blog at any time.

Blog submissions should include he same photographs, proof sheets and cover sheets as a Real Wedding Magazine submission (see above).

Because these images are shown online, it is okay for the photographer to include his/her watermark or logo on each image as long as it doesn't hinder the photo.
